NEWBURYPORT - From hardship comes opportunity. That's the message Executive Director Patricia Dorfman gave members during the Newburyport Maritime Society's annual meeting this week.

Firelands Historical Society will have its holiday homes tour from 1 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 26. The tour includes historic homes in Norwalk and the Octagon House in Monroeville.
